Sri. Manjunatha Education and Development Society is a non-profit, non-political, and development organization. It has been working with multi-sectoral communities without distinction of caste, creed, and community in Bangalore Urban and Chamarajanagar Districts of Karnataka since its inception in 2004.

It has been working for the development of the most marginalized and vulnerable sections of society. The approach of the organization is to implement development programmes based on the felt needs of the people with an effort to mobilize people’s participation for individuals and community development.


Legal Status
Sri. Manjunatha Education and Development Society(R) is a registered Society under K.S.R.Act 1960. Its registration No is 231/04-05 dated 14-06-2004. the organization has also been possessing 12.A. and 80 G for Tax exemption under Income Tax Act 1961.

Giving Information
Donations made to Sri Manjunatha Education and Development Society Trust are exempt from tax under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act and have FCRA certification to receive international funds from all countries.


Objectives
  • Organizing social welfare programs for exploited women and children and committing to working for the overall growth.
  • Conducting skill training and camps for the development of women and children.
  • Build hostels for poor women and children with special attention to the disabled class among them.
  • Build schools, colleges, educational and cultural institutions to encourage youth to become constructive citizens of society.
  • To encourage youth to take up self-employment and arrange the needed resources for them.

  • Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes (EAP) in Bangalore and Chamarajanagar Districts.
  • Child Care Programmes in Bangalore and Chamarajanagar Districts.
  • Vocational training for women in Bangalore and Chamarajanagar Districts.
  • Promotion of SHGs in Bangalore and Chamarajanagar Districts.
